SUBJECT:
Exams and the end of the Third trimester
DATE: May 9, 2008
The third trimester is quickly coming
to a close. Below is the schedule
for the trimester review and exams. I
believe I have been able to foresee most of the conflicts and have reviewed them
with the faculty.
Students,
the time to study for exams is now. Getting
your papers together, figuring out what you know and understand and what you
need to know better and understand more deeply, and considering what questions
you need to ask your teachers all need to take place well ahead of the exam
itself. Plan on studying each night
in preparation for your exams; studies on memory show that long term memory is
aided by properly spaced review more than by “cramming.”
PLEASE
NOTE: MIDDLE AND
Reminder:
We only have one designated Review Day this year, Thursday, May 29.
All teachers need to distribute a review guide to students by May 22.
